Most of the farmhouse dates back to the 1800s. The oldest part of the house, including our special wood-fired oven, dates back to 1760! Some additions were completed in 2007 and were constructed to blend seamlessly into the existing architecture. You may encounter some creaky floor boards during your stay – we consider this part of the charm of a historic farmhouse.

“Love is all about finding space. A new space, your piece of land, a space where the possibility of knowing who you are is encouraged, where your opinions are debated, your differences sharpened, and where you are loved for it. A space where you feel safe to take risks, where you hearten others to look for themselves, where you doubt, love, wait and listen. A space where you see a communal horizon, and realize just how much you can believe in something.”— Francois Cheng
