Knitting in Nature
w/ Christiane Ruggiero

Friday, November 13 – Sunday, November 15, 2026
2-night all-inclusive stay

Come knit for a weekend of community and nature at Bloom Farm, November 13–15, 2026. Guided by fellow knitting and nature lover, Christiane Ruggiero, you’ll spend the weekend in a serene and supportive environment, practicing and learning this meditative skill with each other. All are welcome–whether you’re an experienced knitter or have never held a needle before.

We’ll enjoy nourishing meals, lounge in the farmhouse, and spend time outdoors. Your stay includes access to the outdoor sauna and cold plunge, a farm tour, and peaceful nature walks. A restorative early winter escape centered around this meditative craft and good company.

Knitters (or crocheters!) are encouraged to bring whatever they are working on, have knitting questions about, or come empty handed to start a project at the farm.

Materials provided are a set of straight knitting needles (Knit Picks laminated birch, 10”, 4.5mm, US size 7), and a long scarf pattern (beginner) or triangle scarf pattern (intermediate), 2 skeins of worsted Alpaca and wool yarn from the farm’s animals with the option to purchase more.
